A tail of two ‘cities’: Tanker joins ranks of 100th ARW heritage, becomes ‘Square-D Away’
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Maegen Correll, 100th Maintenance Squadron sheet metal apprentice, checks a technical order Oct. 21, 2015, as a safety spotter, ensuring all necessary steps are followed correctly when placing a decal of the 100th Air Refueling Wing’s “Square D” on the tail of a KC-135 Stratotanker on RAF Mildenhall, England. The jet, formerly from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., has been reassigned to RAF Mildenhall and underwent a full isochronal inspection.
